LOVE this little machine
I had a bit of Acer 10.1 "netbook for about 6 months. Favorite portability and long battery life, but the small screen and keyboard were killing me, so I sold it. After making much research, I decided on this as a replacement. This little beauty is sweet. The keyboard is flexible and sensitive, it looks so sleek silver exterior with brushed photos are amazing on your screen, and is still small and light enough to fall into a backpack. I considered buying an external DVD, but instead, I just shared the tray DVD on my desktop and loaded the necessary software (Office 2007 Pro and Photoshop Elements as 7). Save $ $ few EDVD not buy that.
I was a little worried about the uber-bright and the touch screen slider, but I had no problem with it. I took the advice of someone who has released a patch and used the little button above the touchpad to turn it off before putting the computer to sleep and I have not experienced any unexpected frost some highlights other revisions. As others have said, is a fingerprint magnet, but, hey … is a touch pad.
The left side of the palm rest is a bit warmer than the right, but not uncomfortable.
The powers-right web cam up and the images it produces are very good. Built-in microphone works well to sit at a comfortable distance away.

Sweet Little Laptop
Pros:
I was looking at netbooks, but found them too small. This is a perfect size for the coffee table, and is very good with the brushed aluminum. I have a really nice screen and a large keyboard with play / pause / volume buttons you need to play Music in the top row. HDMI output and four USB ports are a plus too.
Cons:
I've had no problem with plastic trim to collapse, as one reviewer did. The only design flaw that I see are the rubber parts that prevent the screen bezel bezel touch the keyboard when the lid is closed is a little too small or shallow, so the screen gets covered some very minor scratches. This could believe not being Minimized put nothing very heavy top computer when closed, and not to squeeze too tight in the exercise thereof. But that's a minor problem. In addition, the team is getting a bit hot (especially under the palm of the left hand, probably when the CPU is), maybe too hot for extended use on the legs, but it is super quiet – a tradeoff I can live.
Bottom Line:
This is a great little laptop for the money. I recommend it.

Perfect Blend – mobile and capable
I bought my dm3 w / AMD a few weeks ago. I was in the market for a MacBook Pro, but when it comes time to send my order in the area of Apple Checkout, I decided to investigate a little more. I could not fathom paying almost twice of as much as 13 dm3 of a Pro "MacBook.
I thank the lightness of the dm3 to 4.2 pounds. You are able to move easily from room to room with him in one hand and do not load everything in a notebook sleeve. In addition, aluminum construction and especially chickpeas, let the keyboard style is almost ergonomic and aesthetically perfect. I call it my little envious of HP.
My Dm3 comes with 4 GB of RAM, a 500GB HD, and an independent, elegant exterior of the HP brand DVD Media Drive. I love Bluetooth functionality and HDMI port. Makes it easy to connect to my cell or LCD TV. (I have connected with BlackBerry, Palm Press, Android phones, and an iPhone without problems. You can also connect to other computers without any problem.)
Despite what some reviewers can say that have not experienced any lag, programs even with intensive use of resources such as iTunes and Norton Security Suite runs in the background. I have been running routinely YouTube, Microsoft Word, iTunes and Norton Security Suite running a virus scan in the background and did not experience significant delays in its performance.
I recommend this computer if you're looking for something portable, Stylish and functional. It is all these things and more. Shop around and enjoy it.

Elegant, powerful, but the mobile machine – I love mine
This laptop is great. Thanks, HP, to finally compete with Apple with something that does not kill my budget. The mouse on this laptop in particular can get strangely fat and getting caught in a strange way of zoom, but that's the only fault I found in more than seven months of use. Design: (5.5) – It's mostly made of brushed aluminum, but there are parts that are plastic. The bezel around the screen, the keys, the bottom of the notebook, and obviously has plastic battery on it. The keys to the island are much better than the keys on my old laptop. It is also quite thin.
Basically, anyone can "feel" the keyboard, so I really do not get as many errors as when I used to write in my old laptop. The touchpad is a problem. It is very nervous, but it is a no problem for me. Fortunately, HP includes a button on the top of the touch screen to turn it off. I like to use a USB mouse, so the touchpad is generally off.
Battery (4.5 / 5) – It could be better. I have about 4 hours of battery life, but I can be really safe. HP has screwed in this aspect of the laptop. For some reason, you can check how much battery is left. He said to have "27% battery left." However, it does not list the actual time left on the battery. This is a problem because I want to know how much battery is left. I heard that other people had the same problem, and HP, hopefully, fix it with an update.
Specifications (5.5) – Do not expect this to be a powerful computer. Trust me when I say this. This is a replacement for my old Intel Centrino 2 Duo 2.0 GHz. This draft was about 1.5 times faster than that. It does not mean that it is not good business. This is an ultra portable and comes with 2 cores. There are many in this price range, and the aluminum finish. It also has a good graphics card card Radeon 128 MB discrete graphics.
That's pretty impressive as most netbooks do not have a discrete graphics card. I've even seen $ 800 + I3 Intel notebooks do not even have a discrete graphics card. Aside from the graphics, also as usual, a Webcam, No Wireless, and card reader. There are 4 gigs of ram, and can be upgraded up to 8 gigs.

No more Envy MacBook Pro for me! I love computers and have owned many computers laptops in recent years, from a Dell Mini Mac PowerBook. I thought for a long time to buy a new MacBook Pro I loved the size (13 inch model) and the look of brushed silver and many applications. What I did not like was the price and the fact that I could not use Office OneNote (as a teacher and a mother, this is an application who truly can not live without!) on the Mac without buying Windows 7 and Parallels. Are some stores team player with both the Mac and other equipment and stopped at this dm3 HP. I loved it from the first touch. Construction is solid, pleasing to the eye, light, and perhaps most importantly for me, FAST! I do not play computer games but do a lot of Internet browsing, viewing the video, and lots of photos and film application usage. This little one is as fast as my big desk and more expensive replacement, and simply blows my Dell Mini Water Law. Even in the same league!
If I could give this more stars, I … namely a quick and elegant 13-inch (right size) equipment that is as pretty as the MacBook Pro I'm not a big fan of touchpads, I always use a mouse. That said, I love this!
I would be negligent not to mention that the Amazon service is absolutely second to none. I originally ordered a 13-inch Asus, but I changed my mind after reading some comments about the wireless capabilities (Plus, I kind of freaked out to buy someting that never had played in reality.) After playing with it in the shop was actually the manufacturer to offer me. They have the best customer service on this planet, and I I could never buy my computers from anywhere. Also worth mentioning … SquareTrade bought three years warranty including spills, etc. that MacBook had an old (6 years) who had a SquareTrade warranty on. He died one day, I sent by mail, and had my full purchase price in my bank account within a week. Much worth the money! PS This is the only exam that I have ever written, although I've been a loyal fan of the Amazon for years. I guess this shows how much I love this team!
