Portable charger does not load! What can I do ??????????????????!!!!?
I have a Compaq Presario CQ50 and I had since December 08. I've never had any problem with it until yesterday. When I turn on my laptop, which was completely dead. (I did not understand why, because he had stopped all the day). I connected the laptop and the charging light not seen. He then tried to use the charger for my brother and my team worked very well. I do not understand why my charger has been working well without any problems and now it works. I need to know if the charger can be fixed or if I have to buy one new. If I buy a new one, where can I find one and how much will it cost ??????? Please help! I have a task that I do and I can not borrow the charger my brother forever! Thanks in advance! 
The power converter is the part that is not working. I my brother's converter with my connection and it worked. When I used my converter, it wouldnt work.
Most portable chargers are of short duration. If your laptop is already two years old, you should consider getting a new laptop instead. Ebay has really cheap compatible portable chargers, but I doubt his qualities. Personally, I would recommend a company called TopmicroUSA.
