Why HD playback so slow?
Every time I touch something in 720p HD through my computer the image is really slow, even the sound is fine. If I'm streaming, playing a downloaded file or watching on youtube I get the same result. What is the problem can be solved by what I see 720p-1080p video without running or jumping or any type of interruption. I'm pretty computer illiterate, so grateful much a little help!
Since you mentioned that you are receiving slow-play content streamed and downloaded content offline, that can eliminate slow network speed as a possible reason. 1. The most common reason for this problem is a poor choice of media players. Windows Media Player is a bad choice for HD content. I'd recommend the excellent free player VLC or Windows Media Player Classic (available independently or in line with the appropriate codecs – search for it). 2. Another common reason for a problem as low power is a graphics card. Your graphics card may be too weak to support high definition content and may need to upgrade to a more powerful graphics card to get a smoother playback. Test 1 above. If not solved the problem, try 2 – that should do the trick.
