How do I clean my laptop screen using household items?
My MacBook is very dirty. He wanted to know if there is a way to clean without having to buy a cleaner kit. It has lots of spots and the lid is all scratched and ruined: (I dont know how it got dirty though. In any case I tried using water, but only got worse. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!
Commercial screen cleaners are of isopropyl alcohol (also known as alcohol, which you probably have in your kit) and ethylene glycol, which is unlikely to have access. You could try using just alcohol and a clean cloth lint-free cloth. Already used the water in it, so I doubt you could do more damage than they have done already.
