Should I buy a 450 and Lenovo laptop or Dell XPS M1330 laptop?
It is mainly for school work (class notes, papers writing, research, online HW / reading, etc) and web browsing. Possibly also some games, if I go back to Guild Wars. I'm looking these two b / c they seem to be powerful enough to accommodate what I want and are small and light enough to be portable to class.
I have a M1330 … I regret having brought for several reasons. While designed for Windows Vista, I get the blue screen of death a couple of times. When I "upgraded" back to XP, the problem disappeared. My space bar of the box was screwed. The face plate where the power of the lights, etc, came after a few times within my backpack. I would opt for Lenovo, just because it is much more robust (in my opinion). Again just my opinion, but the keyboard on the M1330 seems rigid compared to other laptops I've used. Other than that … it would be good whether based on your needs … the choice of good luck.
